Tyrone Plantation still standing grand in the heart of Central Louisiana built in 1843 by George Mason Graham who is known as “the father of Louisiana State University”. Tyrone Plantation is the largest of the homes built along historic Bayou Rapides during the plantation era from 1830-1860 and is now the only privately owned plantation that is open by appointment for tours, weddings & receptions, luncheons, parties, special events and features Bed and Breakfast accommodations. Built on a 3,200-acre cotton plantation this historic bed and breakfast offers beautifully decorated guest rooms with full private baths. The house and grounds are available for your next memorable event!
